Carla and Crappy Show: The Carla’s Back For Wivalwy Week Edition

It’s Week 13 of the college football season, and that’s significant for a whole bunch of reasons. The most important one? We’re getting the band back together -- that’s right, Carla returns live for the first time since Miss Ellie showed up earlier in the fall, and we’re hoping we get to keep her for the rest of the season. Carla, we mean. Well, Ellie too. The other reasons? Wivalwies. A ton of them. Because it’s Wivalwy Week. We’ll get to those in a sec. But first, AJ, Crappy and Carla discuss the things we loved seeing last weekend -- spoiler alert: one of them has to do with soccer and another #CnCShow kid -- and, because they taped on Sunday evening, take their best cracks at predicting what the CFP committee will do this week. Get pumped, Bearcats fans. And then, the games. So, so many games. The gluttony of Thanksgiving weekend begins on Thursday, and this week’s college football is no different. (Note: No rankings because of the early taping this week.) Fresno State at San Jose State, (3:30 Thursday, FS1) Can Fresno find its form from the beginning of the season while playing in half of a football stadium? Egg Bowl Ole Miss at Miss State (7:30 Thursday, ESPN) There are differing opinions about who’s going to win this game, but all three of us agree -- if the number stays around 60, take the over. Boise State at San Diego State (Noon Friday, CBS) We’re here for the punts. The Game Ohio State at Michigan (Big Nude, Fox) Crappy is more excited for this game than Gus. He’ll probably yell more too. UTSA at North Texas (2 Saturday, ESPN+) Meep meep, %(*$$&)$)*@ers. Iron Bowl Alabama at Auburn (3:30 Saturday, CBS) Bama should win. Just like Bama should have won the Kick Six game years ago. The Civil War Oregon State at Oregon (3:30 Saturday, ESPN) Oregon State has something to play for. Do the Ducks? Western Kentucky at Marshall (3:30 Saturday, CBSSN) A true hate game with the best AJ Fun Index (74.5) of the weekend. Bedlam Oklahoma at Oklahoma State (7:30 Saturday, ABC) Can Mike Gundy break out of his John Cooper-esque streak of near total futility against the Sooners? And your bonus game: UMass at New Mexico State (3 Saturday, maybe you can find a stream on the internet somewhere?) Both teams come in at 1-10 -- and this is AJ’s ultimate chance to break down the reverse college football playoff. Folks, an already awesome season has been made awesomer by the 1) the return of Carla and 2) the incredible list of fans and pros who sat in for her while she figured out the whole motherhood thing.
